Planet Scuba - LAKE OPEN WATER DIVES
During the spring (once the lake melts) to fall (until the lake freezes) we do our Open Water dives on Sundays. Most of these are at Lovering Lake (near Chamberlin), we also do some specialty dives at Fox Point (Long Lake). If you would like to join us for one of the Open Water dives, please do the
following:
1. Call and/or come in and let us know that you plan on attending.
2. If you are completing your course, have all your classroom work and required pool dives done before Sunday.
3. Be at Planet Scuba at 9am to gear up. We will be gone until early to late afternoon depending on who is coming. Plan to be back by 4pm (although we may be back earlier). Again, depending on who is coming you can come with us or take your own vehicle. It is about an hour drive.
**September 12th we WILL NOT be going to the lake…however, we WILL be doing a Saturday September 11th Lake dive at Lovering Lake.

IF you have not done any diving with us before, we would like to have you join us for a pool session before you join us for any open water dives. Also, any personal equipment that you bring to the pool that has not been purchased through the shop MUST be inspected before you use it in the pool.
Due to recent changes in liability insurance coverage regulations, effective immediately, there will be no life support equipment (BCD, Reg’s, etc.) allowed at our pool sessions that have not been serviced by current manufacturer trained service technicians within the last 12 months.
(Planet Scuba can provide this service for most brands of BCD, Regulators, etc.)
